CBBA Taekwondo Program for Children CBBA offers the Tiny Tigers program for children ages 4 and 5 and the Traditional Taekwondo program for children ages 6 and up. The lessons are taught and tailored to your child’s age and skill level. Your child begins by practicing basic patterns, moves, forms, board breaking, kicking, blocking and striking. These fundamental skills increase your child’s physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental awareness. Children also learn discipline, respect, honor, loyalty and self-control. Our entire system is based on building self-confidence - from daily successes in class, to earning new stripes and belts, to breaking their first board, to the day they become a black belt. Confidence will soar not only in Taekwondo, but also at home, with friends, and at school. Only $10 per week. Gross motor development provides the basis of all other forms of development- including intellectual and perceptual development.  It has been scientifically proven that physical activity has a profound influence on academic performance.  If certain develpment milestones have not been acheived by schoolgoing age, chidlren may find it difficult to cope in the classroom. For additional information, contact: Michael or Laura Shatzel 678-522-3360  Dance Class   Creative Movement & Dance teaches tap & ballet classes for children 3 years old and up.  The classes are each 45 minutes long and are divided into 20 minutes of tap and 25 minutes of ballet.  Since ballet is the basis for al dance technique, the combination of both work hand in hand.  The technical training is taught through ballet, which in turn helps teach the proper shifting of weight and patterns in movement for tap.  Since children naturally repsond to music and movement, all of the activities are executed to fun music.  In May, parents are invited to a recital.  There is no recital fee or costume fee.  The recital lasts about 30 minutes and every child participates.  Costumes are provided by Creative Movement and Dance and must be returned immediately after the performance.  Monthly Tuition: $52.00 Registration Fee: $32.00 Please contact Creative Movement & Dance at 678-482-2264 or visit their website at www.creativemovementanddance.com for more information!
